TBP Auto spent three days at Automechanika Ho Chi Minh City 2026, held from June 18–20 at the Saigon Exhibition and Convention Center.
During the show, our team met with buyers, distributors, and manufacturers from Vietnam and overseas. Many conversations revolved around how the heavy-duty parts market is looking at Vietnam as a sourcing destination.
What stood out was that the discussions went well beyond cost and product specs. Sourcing teams were just as focused on quality control, production consistency, origin traceability, and long-term support.
Many companies are becoming more selective, looking to consolidate with partners they can trust.

Brake drums remain TBP Auto’s core, but the customers we work with are increasingly looking at Vietnam for a wider range of parts, and for a partner who understands both heavy-duty braking systems and the local supply base.
That is the direction we are building toward: a manufacturer first, and an advisory partner for reliable heavy-duty parts solutions.

As a home-market show, Automechanika Ho Chi Minh City also gave us the chance to take the conversation beyond the exhibition floor.
Some of the buyers visited our factory and walked the line with us, from casting and machining to the quality lab – something a trade show in another region cannot easily replicate.
“The people we met weren’t just shopping for a part. They wanted someone who could help them think through quality, origin, and sourcing options in Vietnam. That is the role TBP Auto is growing into.” – Linh Phan, Project Manager, TBP Auto

Thank you to everyone who connected with our team during the show. If you are exploring Vietnam for heavy-duty brake drums or related commercial vehicle parts, contact us and let’s continue the conversation.
