TBP Auto at Automechanika Shanghai 2025: A Strong Step Forward

Introduction

TBP Auto concluded a successful participation in Automechanika Shanghai 2025, held at the National Exhibition and Convention Center (NECC) in Shanghai from November 26–29. As exhibitors this year, we welcomed visits from clients, partners, and industry peers and gained a wealth of insights that will shape our next chapter.

Strong Presence at a Leading Industry Event

Automechanika Shanghai remains Asia’s most influential platform for the automotive aftermarket. With all 15 halls of the NECC filled and more than 7,000 exhibitors participating, the 2025 edition gave a comprehensive look at where the industry is heading.

The scope of the fair is vast: it spans parts & components, electrics & electronics, new energy & connectivity, diagnostics & repair, tires & wheels, customization, remanufacturing, and digital services.

Being an exhibitor allowed TBP Auto to stand alongside global suppliers and showcase the strengths that differentiate us in a competitive landscape.

“Automechanika Shanghai 2025 is where the automotive aftermarket industry comes together, and we are proud to be part of it, showcasing what TBP Auto stands for,” shared Ms. Miranda Khuc, Export Sales Representative at TBP Auto.

Highlights From Our Showcase

At our booth, TBP Auto presented a selected mix of product lines and solutions aligned with current global market demands:

  • OEM-grade brake drums for American, Chinese, and Japanese trucks, reflecting our expertise in commercial-vehicle braking systems.
  • A range of spare parts from the Antek brand, established by our partner An Thai, covering popular Chinese truck models.
  • Components suitable for diverse trucks and commercial vehicles, aligning with the shift toward high-quality, sustainable parts.

The response from visitors was positive and encouraging. Throughout the four-day exhibition, we engaged with existing clients, met new potential partners and distributors, and discussed concrete cooperation opportunities. Several discussions have already progressed into follow-up meetings and formal agreements.

Just as importantly, hearing directly from technicians and customers gave us valuable insight into the practical challenges they face – insights that will help refine our product roadmap.

Market & Industry Trends Observed

Automechanika Shanghai 2025 was not just about product displays; it reflected major shifts in the global automotive aftermarket:

  • Rising interest in China+X sourcing strategies, as distributors and manufacturers look to diversify supply chains amidst the unpredictable international trade scene.
  • A strong emphasis on new-energy vehicles (NEV), electrification, and intelligent connected systems. Many exhibitors focused on EV powertrains, thermal-management systems, smart chassis, and electronic drive systems.
  • Growing attention to digitalization, diagnostics, and workshop efficiency. As vehicles incorporate more electronics and connectivity, demand rises for high-quality diagnostics tools and data-driven maintenance solutions.
  • Increasing focus on sustainability, remanufacturing, and eco-conscious supply – emphasizing the global trend toward responsible manufacturing and circular economy models within auto parts supply.

These trends confirm what TBP Auto anticipates: the aftermarket is evolving rapidly, and success depends on being forward-looking, adaptable, and aligned with global innovations.

What This Means for TBP Auto & Our Partners

With the exhibition now behind us, TBP Auto is putting the insights gained in Shanghai into action. In the coming months, we will:

  • Continue building a responsible supply chain rooted in quality and sustainability.
  • Adjust our product roadmap to anticipate shifting demand in hybrid and electric segments.
  • Strengthen our support for workshops transitioning to more connected, data-driven service models.

These efforts reinforce our commitment to providing trustworthy parts and practical solutions for partners navigating an evolving aftermarket.

“Our participation this year strengthens our commitment to delivering dependable, well-engineered components to our customers,” said Mr. Thomas Heller, Director of TBP Auto. “We appreciate the support from everyone who visited our booth, and we look forward to further collaboration in the months ahead.”
